The Wonders of a Grandbaby.....

Paw Paw Gerald and Casey -- Oct. 25
~Gerald ~ Blessings more than I can count! New grandbaby to have fun with, new daughter in law, rain, friends, fish in the traps, oats for the cows, beautiful wife, healthy family, and grocery money. Great day, think I'll go down to the bottom pasture and visit with the big guy in the sky, has a way of calming the nerves and setting direction. Count blessings, run out of fingers, thank big guy and count again!

Happy Birth-day little Casey

Oh so different.....

On moving day for Amanda and James, Aunt Wanda and Grandmom Diane took Megan and Bethany to a "Build A Bear" store, except in Megan and Bethany's case it was "Build A Dog"... Between Aunt Wanda (wish I had a picture of her) and Grandmom the girls picked out TWO DOGS just alike for two very different girls. A Big Thank you to Aunt Wanda for helping Grandmom finance the dogs. I know they are very high Pedigreed dogs because of the COST!!! :o) It was so much fun and sure beat lifting and moving furniture and boxes!

From Facebook....
Michael Prejean my sons have been in Iraq for a month. There's been no whining, no BS, no whimp comments about why am I over here and I wish I were home. AMANDA

Each new born baby is God's opinion that the world should go on......

On October 4, 1977, Amanda Kaye arrived into this world.  Her Mother wasn't sure what she was going to do with another baby.  Her Father thought she was wonderful.  Her brother wished he had gotten a puppy instead, and her big sister just loved on the new baby sister.  As time went by we all knew why we were blessed with our Amanda.  She has added the sparkle we needed....  We are thankful....
Happy Birthday and I Love You, Amanakaye - mom/diane

World Traveler

Just wanted everyone to know that the posts from diane won't be as many - WHEW! You may take a rest!!!! :o) I have been gone from home for a week now. I helped Amy and Rob get moved to their new home - left her with mostly pictures to hang on the wall. I am now with Amanda and moving day is tomorrow for them. Will help get them settled - with a visit with Wanda in between - and then I am going to Clyde/Abilene. We are just way too scattered... One more reason to make this blog important.... :o) My computer time will be limited, so until I make it back home the posts will be few.... Lovnhugs, diane
